Carolina is up 1-0 on Atlanta. Hope they win, Atlanta is a bigger threat to us in the Standings. |

Tavaras gets the game winner for the Islanders 3-2 win over Pittsburgh...nice Swirlies now up 2-0 on the Trash Ditto with the Flames over the Wings Lightning leading the Rags 1-0 Cats over the Make Beliefs 2-1. Kessel does have his 7th already though. |

im thinking of starting a scoreboard watch thread for the sabres... is it too early? its a thread in which we post about games that could influence where the sabres are in the standings. like tonight, im rooting for the leafs to beat the panthers. |

Thrashers score 5 in the 3rd to beat the Swirlies 6-4. Flames beat the Wings 3-0. Kipper with 40 saves. |
