"Mikhail Grabovski and Francois Beauchemin were involved in a scuffle and had to be separated, reports AM640 in Toronto.

The radio station is reporting the pair was involved in an argument and Grabovski tried to punch Beauchemin. Jason Blake and assistant coach Tim Hunter got between them. "

Oh but this is a punch. Attempted assault. Pretty big issue if it continues. He did try punching him and it took a coach and a player to get them to break it up.

but its hockey.

funny story, years ago, 2005, i was at a flint generals game against port huron. suddenly, we see a massive fight. next thing we know, we realize, it was two port huron players. that was something.

This was pretty much a fight. But it was broken up.

I agree about it probably being a non issue. If it happens again between Grabo and Beauchemin, then it'll be a big deal. But for now, it's a losing team letting off steam in the wrong way.
