They're on a hot streak at home right now. 10 wins in a row. They're currently 4th in the Western Conference, and they even managed to fill 80% of the arena last game. Here's to progress. While you may not agree that a team belongs there, you can't argue that success in Phoenix isn't good for hockey and the NHL. |

Sucks that they're such a good team, but no one is coming. |

Uh 80% is terrible. Good for second worst in the NHL last season. |

If we break 80% down over a whole season, it isn't so good. Buffalo would average about 15,600 per game using that number. Considering they were playing to less than 10,000 at the beginning of the season, this is actually an encouraging sign for Phoenix. |

you may get more offers to buy a team and keep them in phoenix if the team continues this spell of wins and gets some fans. of course the NHL could give the phoenix area free NHL network to attempt to attract more fans. |

80% is great for when they would barely fill 6000 seats. Be realistic here, Phoenix shouldn't be selling 80% of the seats, and if they win and fill the seats, that means more fans. |

Perhaps they'll randomly get to the WCFs again. |

Yeah, I have attendance stats for last year in addition to attendance stats from 01 through 09 at home, and 80% would have beat only the Atlanta Thrashers last year on a percentage-based attendance scale. |

But in a crap market like Phoenix, 80% is a huge improvement. |
