They've got a good roster talent wise...they just weren't playing well under Murray, and have been underachieving for years. Good move in my opinion |

Funny, the Blues had been responding well to Murray - They did the same thing three years ago, firing Mike Kitchen. The Blues have held their self-imposed cap to an anemic level, over the past few seasons, and shed some very promising players (and seasoned veterans) to do so. I can't agree with John Davidson on this move. They may have hit a slump, but one can't really fault Murray for trying to do the same job with less and less. And, other than Erik Johnson and TJ Oshie (and Alex Pietrangelo) have very little coming up the pipe. |

That team overachieved last year...they should have least been a bit more patient to let the group gel. |
