I heard from Pierre Lebrun on the CBC hotstove last night that the Blackhawks, yes the Blackhaws, have interest in him if he isn't resigned.
Not saying it will hapen but if it does happen the Hawks would be a pretty lethal team.

Well with what Patkane said, if he isn't resigned. So unless they try to trade for him, they won't get him, when he hits UFA, he's going to the highest bidder unless a deal is made before July 1st. |

Chicago would have to dump a little over $2m in salary to take on Kovie for the balance of the season. (Assuming this were to happen now.) Don't see it happening. |
