Please let it be someone out west. I would much rather see him once a year than 4 times. Also, watch Max's numbers drop back down to what they were in Buffalo. He's not gonna look so good now that Kovy is gone. |

Washington never put asses regularely in the seats until Ovechkin arrived. The fact they built a team around him solidified their position in the Washington sports scene for years to come. Atlanta had the same opportunity. They have apparently blown it. Guys like this don't come around that often. I don't think he's as good as Ovechkin, but he sure as hell is more talented than most everyone else. And no way in hell would I mortgage the future for what could well be a strict rental player. If he wouldn't agree to an extension, I'd be careful what I give up. |

So you would think that Boston, LA and maybe Washington be the front runners. There is no chance in hell he would end up in Toronto. The only way the leafs could do it if the give up Kessel, Kabrele, Kadri and high picks. which would put the Leafs further back into the "rebuild". |

We should trade Vanek for him, because both don't backcheck so we aren't losing out on defense at all. |
