When I stopped watching it the game was 4-2 in Montreal's Favor, but I see Washington tied it up at 5 to force OT, but lost.

Still, points in their last 15 games in a row?

Who, I ask, WHO is capable of beating this team in a best-of-7?

Now that they've gotten better goaltending overall, I cannot see them without the Cup at the end of this season.

The current version of the Washington Capitals is not good enough to win the Cup. They'll need to solve their goaltending and defensive woes before they claim Lord Stanley's Holy Grail.

As far as who could beat them? Your guess is as good as mine. But the Caps are not winning the Cup with their current syndicate of goalies. It will be interesting to see what they do at the trade deadline.

Anyone watching this game? Montreal is my #2 team, and I'm glad they're winning. But did anyone see Ovechkin's goal that was wiped out? He nailed Hal Gill right in front of the net and drove Gill, Price, and the puck into the net. It was fabulous. Then it was called off. What a bs call.

A puck possession team will beat them, because it'll keep them off the attack and will require their sub par defensive squad and goaltending to carry the weight.

I still think their goaltending will be their downfall. If they get a goalie even a little bit better than Theodore and Varly, they'll win the cup.

If Ovechkin, Semin, and Backstrom all put over 20 points during these playoffs, they'll win the cup. If Crosby and Malkin can win Pittsburgh a Cup, Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom, and Green can win one for Washington. MAF wasn't the reason Pittsburgh won their cup last year, and neither will the goalies for Washington if they win, unless Varlamov plays like he did last year in the playoffs, then he will steal a few games, heck he was shaky tonight, but he's only going to regain his form fro early on.
