It's always boggled me as to why the great one would want to be involved with this bastard child. You would think he would have gone back to one of the teams he actually had history with? (Edm. LA. NYR..even though they were Messier's team) I wonder if Gretz can squeeze that $8 Mil/season out of Ford for those commercials to compensate?

Messier might have been the Captain, but without Gretzky the scoring would not have been as prolific. |
