The Dallas Stars have reportedly locked up forward Steve Ott to a contract extension.

The Dallas Morning News reports that Ott has agreed to a four-year deal and is expected to sign it later on Monday.

Ott, 27, was set to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer and there was some speculation that he would be moved prior to Wednesday's trade deadline.

In 389 career games with the Stars, Ott has 51 goals, 136 points and 778 penalty minutes.
