I love this frenzy.

I don't love that Ottawa is getting better.

I can't really call getting Sutton for a few months and giving up a 2nd rd pick "getting better".

I'm surprised at the lack of movement so far. GMs had almost nothing to do for two weeks but talk trades with each other. I wonder what could be discussed or agreed upon in the next 24 hours that couldn't have been agreed upon the last two weeks.

From now to the end of the season, they're better.

Sutton is a nice pick up, he's a tough guy; blocks shots, but adds little to nothing in the way of offense. Solid 5-6 Defensive man, nothing to write home to mom about, and certainly not worth a 2nd round pick.

2nd Islander in two years that the Sens have gone after...hopefully it doesn't work out.

Big, big dude who toughens the Sens physically and gives solid stay-at-home defense. They did get better, and our batch of softies now has one more Ottawa beast to fear.

Sutton is pretty useless if you ask me. Big and slow.

Would anybody say that another team just got better if they picked up Lydman for a 2nd rd pick? They're just about the same player with the same role on their d-corps. I guess a player added to the roster without giving up a current player is getting better just by adding a body, but in Sutton's case that's about as far as it goes.
