I dont even like Crosby, hell Ill even go as far as saying that I almost hate the guy but this is just sick. This warrants a huge suspension and if it were up to me I would ban him from the NHL. It was a pretty disgusting move by downie, one that no player deserves and no one should condone. When you play cheap though, you tend to get a lot of cheap shots, and Crosby plays cheap. |

This sickening act committed by Downie had nothing to do with hockey whatsoever. This was a blatant attempt to cause bodily harm. He really needs to sit out the rest of the season. |

Too bad it didn't end that pricks career. Just kidding, as much as I have a hatred for Sid I would never want to see him get taken out like that, he's too damn good of a player to have that shit happen to him. He may play cheap, but he doesn't deserve that kind of blatant attempt to blow a knee out. |

They only gave Downie a 2 minute ROUGHING call from that? Jesus fucking CHRIST. That's the most blatant match penalty for attempting to injure that I've seen in years. What a joke this league has become. |

how long will it take to see Downie working at a local Tampa McDonalds? This guy will never change, I guess 20 games for charging was not enough he probably should have got the entire year when he did that a few years ago. |
