Sometimes when I start to mope around and feel sorry for myself for being a Buffalo fan, I think about what it must feel like to be a Sharks fan.

8 playoff appearances in the last 9 years. 5 division titles, 7 advances past the first round. No Cup Finals APPEARANCES, let alone cups themselves.

that wasn't an own goal. if you look at the trajectory of the stick. boyle's stick was angled toward his defensive partner. the puck just barely hit Riley's stick enough to deflect and went in as nabokov was not paying attention.

Still... it's as close as you can come to the real thing, and it was definitely a bone headed play.
