Special teams killed the Red Wings today, as Phoenix put up three powerplay goals and a shorthanded goal in their 5-2 victory at Joe Louis Arena to force a game seven.

THROW THE SNAKE

Vancouver and LA meet at 9 PM EST in the Staples Center as the 'Nucks for the clincher and the Kings try to force a game seven.

Doughty puts the Kings back on top the very second their powerplay ended. Show deflected off Burrows and in. 2-1 with 3:50 in the third.

Looking at the guys on their roster, I really like this Kings team. Smyth, Brown, Doughty, Frolov, etc.
