With 12 goals in 14 games (holy shit, by the way), Cams is chasing down three records this post-season: the modern-day Montreal record of 15 goals, the all-time Habs record of 17, and the all-time NHL record of 19.

Cams has a minimum of four games and a maximum of 14 more games to score 3, 5, and 7 goals to set a bevy of new records.

I, for one, wish him all the luck in the world. The guy is set to make his mark on history.

I wish him luck, because he's going to need it. In all honesty I'm pretty sure he won't sniff the NHL playoff record. After the second round of last years' playoffs, Crosby looked primed to shatter that record as well, seeing as how he had 12 goals in just 13 games. However, as the post-season goes on the checking becomes much tighter. Not to take anything away from Cammalleri, but he's not as good a goal scorer as Crosby, and I fully expect his production to drop off just as Sid's did last season.

Nonetheless though, it would be cool to see a record be broken. IMO though the odds of him actually achieving it are slim.

i remember him playing for michigan, and i always wished he was a sabre.
