Versus made it clear recently that they will be broadcasting Hockey Central after every finals game, even those on NBC. The show will kick on at 11PM regardless.

This is one of those things I had hoped Versus would do. Hopefully this is the first in a line of changes for the network this summer to further give the NHL precedence on the network (half-hour pre-game show for every game, expanded regular season schedule)

Not exactly. Versus' hockey program is also called Hockey Central.

Basically, if Versus was smart, they'd adopt a broadcast model similar to HNiC - a half hour pre-game show and a half hour post-game show would be perfect.

I also wish that Versus would expand during the regular season from Monday and Tuesday only to Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. That leaves Wednesday open for WEC still, but gives the league extra exposure at a national level.

Probably, but ya know what, their NHL deal is paying huge dividends for them. This is probably the most watched the network has ever been.
