WOW, after a great first period, I come to the boards and find NOBODY has veen started a GDT for game 4 of the SCFs!

WTF? No more hockey fans in Buffalo?

Regardless...

After the first, Philly leads Chicago 3-1.

Philly hadn't taken any shots (since their first goal) for 10:13. And the first shot they took turned into their 2nd goal. In the last minute-and-a-half Sharp buried one for the Hawks making it 2-1 Philly. THAT quieted the builng down a bit---until less than a minute later Claude Giroux (of OT goal fame in game 3) was left alone BEHIND Niemi and made it 3-1 Philly.

I really enjoyed the 1st three games but this one is ho-hum. That Byfuglien sucks, I mean he isn't even trying it looks like. Maybe he just isn't that talented at all and Kane and Toewes make him look good? He treats the puck like it's a live hand grenade and he doesn't even consider driving the net! But, I really enjoy watching Kane and Hossa play, and the Flyers have some very impressive young players like Van Reimsdyk and Giroux. If the Penguins had drafted Toewes instead of Staal they would be working on their 3rd straight Cup right now. lol

Still 3-1 Philly after 2.

Not only do I wonder if the Flyers can hang on to tie the series, but I also wanna see if Pronger snags another game puck. I wonder if a Hawk will make a lunge for the puck as the clock winds down.

As they mentioned on CBC, the Flyers are doing a good job of blocking out the Blackhawks forwards from the front of the net.

Don't get me wrong, the guy has been the best player for the Hawks these playoffs, but he looked like Rivet on Carter's empty net goal.
