I hope he doesn't go. He's been my favorite player forever. I even followed him this year in Atlanta...(NHL Center Ice)...

Must be getting more money over there then.

And he's aloud to get a lot of turnovers over there =]
That might make Kovy lean more that way too seeing as he was considering it already.

Or else he knows that since Kovy is gone he wont be as good again and he will test the market to try and land on a team that can win?

As Max is playing in the KHL, his defenders will still be claiming that Ruff never gave him a chance. Poor Max...GTFO!!!

No kidding.

I guess all those first line minutes Max played with Roy and Vanek didn't count as getting a chance. Neither did not getting benched after multiple turnovers that lead to goals the other way.

Time to roll that highlight film....in Moscow.

Haha right where he belongs... with all the other self centered, god complexed, washed up hockey players of the world.

Peace out Max. Great job never living up to your potential.

Hope he does go to the KHL so he can't score any more GWGs against Buffalo.

i always liked max. he had a rejuvenating season it atlanta, and i wish him the best. dude could play, he just never put together the whole package.

and he ALWAYS skated hard. i hope no one ever questions his work, cause he always played hard. too bad hard =/= smart.

I can 100% agree with this post. I always hope he does well where ever he goes, I just don't want him here.

Do you think washington might take a look at him? he seemed to excel playing with a Russian in Atlanta, washington has a good deal of them.

Never question his work ethic, question his talent.

you cant question his talent either. he had oodles of it, and he worked his ass off every shift. he just tried to do it himself too often. and that doesnt work here much.

That is true, this isn't NHL 10 where you can basically be the one man show and win the Stanley cup.

Does WAS have room on the right side for him? I highly doubt it. He'd be a cheap pick-up, but they'll be forced to move someone I think. And what line would he play on?

This. This is why I liked him, he worked hard, just too much by himself. I was happy to see him revive his career in ATL and I wish him the best.
