And now with the Hawks dumping more salary and reloading with pretty good prospects in return, this makes the Leafs in more salary hell. They are in just the same money problems the Hawks were last year.

I am really impressed with Chicago's MGMT of late. The way they are selling stock while it's at it's absolute peak will almost guarantee them a new supporting cast for their gifted young core of talent. Probably providing them with another 2-4 years of a Stanley Cup window before they have to repeat this process.

The trick is going to be finding cheaper replacements in the meantime. But this is very impressive indeed.
