1.5 mil for MacAthur is not bad for him but it sure makes the Leafs look kind of desperate. Don't the leafs have a boat load of Clarke MacAthurs on forward already? |

He's gonna get a good amount of points, I'll bet on it. I say 25 goals and at least 50 points, just because he will be given the opportunity to play top line minutes with Kessel and more shooting for him. |

He was playing top six minutes here with the likes of Roy, Vanek, Connolly, and Pominville. He's never scored more than 17 a season. He does the same thing every year - he scores 10 or so goals in the first 20 or so games, then spends the rest of the season scoring 6 or 7 more. He's not badly priced at 1.1M, but predicting 25/50 out of him is just retarded. |

Maybe not, he had 35 points last year. I say it's possible for him, just depends if he plays with heart or not. He had 9 points in 21 games with the thrashers. and that was mostly if not all without Kovalchuk on the team. |

How many years have you been watching him? He shows up with a head full of steam for the first quarter of the season then pisses his motivation away. He's not gonna ever hit 50 points unless he plays with Crosby or the Sedins. |
