Jim Gintonio, the Arizona Republic's Coyotes beat writer, is reporting that Don Maloney will announce the signing of Lee Stempniak tomorrow. Earlier in the night Tyson Nash, the Coyotes' TV color man, tweeted about 2-years $1.75M as the deal Maloney and Stempniak were working on.

I'll update this post with the official link tomorrow when it's announced.

Also, maybe this will now STOP ALL THE FUCKING 'STEMPNIAK SHOULD SIGN WITH THE SABRES' POSTS!!!!

I would have been happy if we could have gotten him. Everyone was saying it would be good if we got him for 3m. If it is 1.75, I might be a little mad, because that's a steal. Oh well, he isn't even good, just more scoring depth.

It won't. They'll just change to posts saying 'Trade Stafford and a Gatorade bottle to Phoenix for Stempniak and Doan. If Darcy doesn't pull that off he sucks and should be fired.'
