if the ducks get some goaltending and defense, thats a line that could carry them to another cup. |

Issue is, they don't have any top-pair defensemen or a proven goaltender. Hiller very well might be that guy if he shows consistency this year, though. |

hillers good. but hes not a "get on my back and ride me to a series win" guy. hes a middle of the road goalie with a weird stance. |

The Ducks have slowly gone downhill since their cup in 07. And probably even more so since Niedermayer finally retired. |

It would have helped if they didn't trade away Wishnewski and Eminger for basically nothing. |
