Phoenix at Pittsburgh - PHX won, 3-0. I have three words...what. the. FUCK? Bryz put the smack down on the high-powered Pens, that's for sure. Here's hoping shutting out the Pens really wore down the Coyotes.

Montreal at Vancouver - VAN is playing like shit to start the season, and this game against the Habs during their NW roadtrip just began. I don't see Bobby Lu's woes ending tonight.

Habs-Nux

I'm drooling here...this will be a total embarassment, for whichever club loses.

Nux are 0-3, Habs are 2-1 and looking to stomp Vancouver, to prove their loss against the Flames was a fluke.

Git yer ya-ya's on, guyz n galz. Channel 533 TWC.

3 - 0 Nucks! Bernier lookin good..... But then again, he can. It usually doesn't last for too long though. If he could ever play consistently, we will regret having dealt him....

Well, he came into camp 15 pounds lighter than last season. He's looked mean and lean.

7-1 Nux...

Jesus gets chased, and holy schlamolies, the Habs look like little pussies against the "pussiest" team around.

Elite lean?

...Better-motivated-by-a-coach-and-a-franchise-that-doesn't-fuck-around-like-the-Darcy-and-Lindy-collect-my-paycheck-Sabres "lean and mean".

Darcy's trade deadline "rentals" are simply that. He never fails to disappoint - Zubrus, Bernier, Moore - No intention of retaining. Token moves.

The players often sense that, and don't even expect to remain with the team.

Darcy and Lindy are "The Great Motivators"...fuckers.

Don't mind me, I'm in a foul mood. And simple shit like this just sets me off.

Zubrus was a good pickup during that year. We needed some grit, obviously more, but he helped from there on, and would you want Zubrus with his knee problems and salary?

Post subject:  Re: Action Around the NHL 10/07

Not necessarily Zubrus...But, I believe that I was trying to put forth that trade-dealine acquisitions aren't brought in with the intent of their being kept...

They are sought out and acquired with the sole intent of being "disposable" - And, once they catch wind of it, they follow suit and expect no more from the organization - That's not very motivating.

If one gains a reputation for following a certain (perhaps flawed) course of action repeatedly, it merely adds to the "knock" against the organization.

It also proves to be a token move, and a waste of time.

[Something like shuffling the deck-chairs on the Titanic.]
