My buddy in Edmonton claims he heard it on the radio that the deal is done. Nothing showing on tsn.ca or the crackhawks official site yet though. Anyone else hear this?

Chelios to skate with (Chicago) Wolves on Monday

"DETROIT -- Former Blackhawks defenseman Chris Chelios will skate with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League on Monday and could sign with the team next week when it returns from a Canadian road trip, according to a Wolves spokesman."

...he's with the farm team.

Ah, looks like he was close, same city atleast ;)

So Cheli will be property of the Thrash? Not sure how that'll pan out for him. I figured he'd sign with the Hawks to call it quits after this season...
