Oh man, that really sucks for them.

Now they got one of each position gone. We'll see Dipi slip and fall on the ice and break his hip too.

Interesting. If the Sabres were to sign Kassian to a deal, I think we could send them Mancari and a 2nd or 3rd round pick for a 5th round pick and perhaps a prospect like Nino Niederreiter, especially since NYI will lack size up front without Okposo as well.

We'd have to give up at least an NHL regular as well to get Niederreiter. Toss in Stafford, and I think you've got a deal..

Garbage and picks won't buy anything close to Niederreiter.

Well with these two huge injuries I think they might be near the bottom of the east instead of competing for a playoff spot.

They were never going to compete for a playoff spot this year. Unless Tavares breaks out for 70 goals this year.

It fills a defensive hole, but not losing Okposo, unless Niedereiter or however it's spelled is ready to go right now.
