Post subject:  Nabokov to return to the NHL?
According to NHL.com, Nabokov's KHL contract has been terminated.

In addition to this, Darren Dreger tweeted that a a source close to Nabby is reporting a return to the NHL as a viable option. Also, Pavel Lysenkov has reported that he has no interest in retiring.

If Nabokov returns, he'll need to clear waivers. Waiver order is as follows:

There is no way he's returning to the NHL if he was sitting out in the KHL.

Only the Bolts have the space to grab him, I've read. He'd immediately improve their goaltending and relieve their #DanEllisProblems.

Nabakov will end this season playing somewhere in the NHL. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

LOL, I'll go you one better.
I would trade Miller for a kings ransom to a western conference team (Detroit, Anaheim or Edmonton come to mind) and sign Naby to a 3 year 2.5 mil a season deal while Enroth gains some experience as the backup.

But thats just me........ ;)

Same here, but we could get a good ransom from Miller.

but I would never do it, if he can't win in the playoffs with the Sharks who have clearly been one of the best teams in the league, then who's to say he will win in the playoffs with us?

its so fucking irritating whenever a miller trade discussion comes up and everyones all.. TRADE HIM TO DETROIT!

detroit wouldnt take him at this point. its a mute point as darcy wont trade miller, but its fucking irritating.

You know Detroit is just pining for Miller. They want the East Lansing boy in Motor City, and they'll stop at nothing to put him in the Red and White.

Plus that beach looks really nice. I'm not even worked up and it chilled me out.
