Price of 4 200 level tickets to game tonight, $350 bucks. Taking my family including my 2yr old son to the rare game scheduled early enough for him to enjoy it. Priceless! Oh wait, they moved game. There goes that idea. Figures... I really wonder where they think the next generation of fans will come from when they only cater to drunk 25 year olds. |

http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/world ... 298836.ece Looks like more then puddles. I'm sure they also had to roll out all the beer taps and such that were pulled before the Jr.'s. Sounds like they never had even a shot of making the start time they had when they sold these tickets. |

I'm totally lost as to what is being discussed here. Are you talking about the Sabres game or the Winter Classic? As far as I know the Sabres game start time hasnt been moved from it's 7pm start, and moving the Winter Classic to 8pm for player safety is reasonable. Oh yeah, I'm 99% sure they've been serving beer at the WJC. |

This thread is about bitching at how the Sabres game was moved from 5pm to 7pm which makes no sense at all. Just go to the 2-13 game against the Isles at 3pm. Or the 2-20 game versus washington at the same time. Or the 3-13 game vs. Ottawa at 5pm, or the 3-20 game vs. Nashville at 5pm. Since you were willing to shell out money for 200 level seats to a gold game, cost obviously isn't an issue. The assertion that a 7pm start only caters to "drunk 25 year olds" is equally retarded. Later starts on the weekends are to minimize conflicts with college football and to give the out of town fans (hello) time to travel. I guess when I have to leave four hours earlier than normal to go to that Isles game I can go "wahhhh, the Sabres cater to local meatballs with no lives." |

Yeah, I can't get behind the 'drunk 25 year olds' comment. The vast majority of Sabres games are a 7pm start. I fail to see how the caters to any specific demographic other than accommodating people who have jobs and can't make games at 2pm on a Tuesday. |
