Curious to see how many people here watched the game.

It gets a lot of hate, and I understand what they mean about it not being hockey, but I enjoyed watching some of the nasty plays that these guys came up with.

I watched the Draft and the Skills Comps with my gf, but I did other things with my gf during the game itself.

All of the Skill Competition, and parts of the game. It's nice to see that much talent on the ice at one time, but the game has less intensity than most pre-season practices, so it can't hold my attention.

I watched part of the skills, that was it. All I saw ennis do was that silly around the cones thing, did he get involved in anything else?

Random people around town were all "Oh man are you going to the all star game?" I had to be the one to inform them that it's a shell of a real NHL game, the goalies arent actually trying, and no one is really giving it their all...(and that most fans DONT watch it)...but the buzz around town was still pretty cool.

I think that's all Ennis was involved in. Didn't expect to see him get lots of time; he's not one of the more prominent rookies this year, even though his numbers are right there.

Skills comp and nothing else....and even that was a viewing coincidence, I didn't seek it out.

I watched the draft, which was cool and different. Checked out some of the skills comp. but missed a lot of it because we went to a hockey game that night. Watched some of the game itself last night but to me it was a "meh" point.

To me, the game has lost what it used to be. I remember watching the event on TV at Chicago Stadium in '91 and it was actually exciting! Today, not so much. I'd be fine if they put the idea on the shelf.

Well keep in mind he's not really a goal scorer, he's a set up guy, so while his numbers are there, he doesn't have but 1 or 2 highlight reel plays.

Plus he's very over shadowed in Buffalo with Miller, Myers, Vanek, Roy, and to lesser degrees Pommers and Stafford. He gets kinda lost in the shuffle even though he's 3rd on our team in points. He also has the misfortune of spending most his time on a 3rd line pairing, save for powerplays. That definitely hurts his production.

To stay on topic, no I didn't bother watching the game, I had it on as background noise while I played on my computer.

I watched parts of both including Ennis during the skills competition. I was able to see a bit of the actual game while I was at Zebb's last night.

Was at the Draft, watched the skills at a friend's house, mostly wanted to go to that instead, and watched the game at home.

First time I ever watched the game too and Olympic women's hockey was more entertaining than that.

I enjoyed the skills comp very much, the game was so boring it was boring until the last 2 minutes. But I had nothing else better to do but watch it.

I watched bits and pieces of the All-Star game when I was at the bar going into a mimosa coma. I watched the draft, which was a lot of fun. I didn't watch the Super Skills competition, which is kind of funny because it's usually the only thing I'm interested in during the All-Star break. Just didn't get around to it.

I voted parts of it because I had the TV on but I was working on homework at the same time.

Ennis did the cones thing, and the shootout thing at the end (but everyone participated in that).

I probably would have been a lot more excited if a Sabre had been in the regular game though.

The best part of the ASW was that it wasn't a love fest about one guy. I'm not happy Cindy is injured, but if he was there they'd have been blowing him the whole time. It was more about HOCKEY, and less about a guy. It was nice to see the rookies, and want the young-stars game back.

Oh ya, the Caniacs, and the number of times I heard that word was annoying. Too many current and past Hurricane players there.

Don't get Versus at school so I didn't watch any of it. Would have watched the draft and maybe the skills competition if I did but I wouldn't have tuned in for the game.

Missed the draft because of being at another hockey game I was at. Never saw the skills comp because of work but I did see that horrible elimination shootout. I watched more of the all star game because I bought a news tv for my room, I would not have watched any of it if it wasn't for the new TV.

18/19 who voted so far watched the event in some capacity.

Does anyone wonder why they still have the all star game anymore?
