The video did not provide decent angles of the injury. At best, I think his left knee went out. He is out a week or two.

Their top three centers are Sedin, Kesler, Malhotra and their top C prospect is Cody Hodgson...we aren't getting Sedin, Kesler, or Hodgson, and we don't need Malhotra.

If you think that Vancouver is going to jeopardize their fantastic center depth in the middle of probably their best chance at finally earning the Cup so they can acquire one of the Sabres' defensemen, you're a jackwagon. Or Jammerz.

They're already a lock for the playoffs, so only the post-season matters. By then Ballard will be back and Edler has an outside chance at returning late in the playoffs, so Vancover probably isn't feeling too desperate right now.
