this is just a general thread for the days leading up to the trade deadline. whose buying. whose selling. whose selling what. ect. post rumours, ideas, ect. if ya dont like rumours or stuff, dont post. i dont even care if ya wanna post eklund rumours, go right ahead. ill start with the new york rangers. apparently, they are trying to trade for a top 6 forward, and may even be dangling michael del zotto to do so. they have apparently talked to the oilers about hemsky or penner. http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/nyr110209.html |

I'm really interested to see where Phillips winds up, and I am also kind of worried about where Penner goes. He could really improve a team a lot, I would hate to see him go to the Caps, Bruins, or Penguins especially. |

If the Rangers want to get rid of Del Zotto, then Glen Sather should have sent him back to junior last year |
