Might be the worst call I've seen in years.

I don't understand...why was it even ruled no goal in the first place?

If they can call no goals like that, then they may want to time travel 12 years ago and tell the Stars the same thing.

I would like to see the leagues official explanation but I'm sure they'll say that there is no way to actually "see" the puck go across the line. You have to admit that you actually don't see the puck go across the line, we just see them dig it out of the net. That is why a RFID chip in the puck is the best way to declare goals now a days.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

That's too bad for the Jackets, but I am very happy for Trotts and his team because they got jobbed TWICE as bad in a game earlier this season vs. the Flyers. They had a goal disallowed and a penalty called against them for interference on a play when nobody from the Preds touched the goalie, I mean HE WAS NOT TOUCHED. I thought Trotts was going to grow a giraffe neck and maul a zebra with his teeth. I tried to find video but apparently Preds fans have better things to do than post videos of bad calls. But trust me, Trott got served some justice and the Jackets will get some back their way someday too.

The officials are stuck by the wording of the rules, requiring actual visual proof of the puck crossing the line. Maybe next season the NHL can implement some amount of common sense into the wording like, "when the puck is not visible but there is no other place for it to be except across the goal line, barring a temporary breakdown of the laws of physics, a goal shall be allowed".

Holy wow. Talk about taking it in the ass with no chance for a reach around. I'd be super pissed if I were a member of the Jackets or their fans.
