No video yet but he gets kicked out of the Minnesota Wild game after his first game back from 9 games sitting out. The NHL should comedown hard on this douche and suspend for the rest of the year for hitting to the head once again.

EDIT: I just saw the clip on tsn and I think he is a god dam joke of a player.

Remember reading one hockey journo say on Twitter that it's joked about Gillies than he ought to have 5-digit number on his jersey - a correctional system number - because of his goon play.

Just saw this as well.

Although there is no relation, he is an insult to the name on the back of his sweater (Reference to Clark Gillies) and logo on the front.

I hope the league tosses the book at this puke. No need of his shit tactics.

Well thank god he is not related to Clark, this guy is a joke and a any other expletive word you can think to describe him.

I think former goalie garth snow started the whole pens isle blood bath to defend the honor of his butt buddy goalie friend. But now that Gille is uncaged, it's time to sleep in the bed you made mr snowballer

I was half kidding, although if we have him, he isn't injuring our players.

I wouldn't mind having a guy half off his rocker when we play teams full of guys like him like Pittsburgh, Boston, and the NYI. I don't think we have enough protection for our little guys especially with the departure of Rivet and Gaustad and Montador becoming less effective as fighters. Getting a tough guy that can also play hockey to take one of the spots that Grier or Niedermayer will leave at the end of this season is a priority I think. Not a top one, but still a priority.

not me, although I am totally cool with the idea of Kassian posting 100-150 PIM a season. I don't want him to get suspended when he gets to the NHL, I want to see him playing. So I can only hope that the Sabres AHL coaches are able to get through to him.

Having a tough guy is one thing. Having someone that wants to injure their opponents is something.

He has no place in the game of hockey, let alone on the Sabres.

Wasn't disagreeing hence why I said I was half joking, which you chopped. :(

I do think Gillies has something that the Sabres either lack, or are at least running low on. Unfortunately with him you get a host of undesirable things along with it.

Ok, I'm going to rename the NHL the LRR, because that's what they do, lather, rinse, repeat. You suspend a guy for an offense, he comes back, and does it again 1st game, so you give him another suspension of even length. Every man knows if a guy doesn't learn his lesson, you increase the punishment. Well, I guess that proves my hypothesis that Buttman is not a man. If this were DWI's he'd be getting 10 years, not probation.
