Courtesy of Faceoff.com: Free tickets offered as Phoenix Coyotes look to heat up tepid sales "Facing another season of slow ticket sales, the Phoenix Coyotes have launched a promotion that will see hockey fans land free tickets. The "We Win, You Win" ticket promotion will be available for five games during the 2009-10 NHL regular season. If the Coyotes win, fans who purchased tickets to that game can redeem their game ticket and voucher for a free ticket to a future Coyotes' game. The promotion starts on Oct. 24 when Phoenix hosts the Los Angeles Kings. The other dates are: Nov. 14 against the Dallas Stars, Dec. 5 versus the Ottawa Senators, Jan. 16 against the Minnesota Wild and Feb. 13 versus the Dallas Stars. An estimated crowd of about 5,000 took in Thursday's game in Glendale, Ariz., between the Coyotes and St. Louis Blues. The announced attendance was 6,899, which includes unused season tickets." Move. Agreed. This team will never succeed there... they just need to move and get on with life... cuz wow... oh wow... its sad... its one thing if the team sucks but the fan base is there and supports the team no matter what... but to suck and have no fans? haha grounds to move to Winnipeg people... |

They do the free ticket gig down here for the Panthers, too. Buy a special 4 game package and for any of the games you attended that they won you cash in the stub for a free equivalent seat to new game(s) of your choosing. |

To market a team in the South you need to offer little free giveaways to every fan for awhile, that will draw people in to see the team, especially if they are winning. Every 100th fan gets a special hat or something. |

EKLUNDDDDDDDDDD is reporting very positive things on quebec city getting an NHL team through expansion. however, should an NHL relocate to quebec... who moves to the west? toronto moves back? buffalo? maybe pittsburgh? unless a team relocates back west.... id hate to say, probably buffalo. |

Doubt it, it would be retarded to move team out west. Just keep one extra team in the East conference, if by expansion. Or if a team moves, just keep it west until you need to change the conferences around again. |
