So I just read one of the headlines on puck daddy about how Terry Murray (coach of the Kings) was in a tizzy over fans booing the Kings after the 2nd period. They ended up losing that game 4-0 to the Blues after being able to muster only 6 shots over the first 2 periods.
Quote Terry Murray:
Quote:
You know what the most disappointing, frustrating thing was? At the end of the second period, we were booed off the ice by our fans. That is the most embarrassing thing I have ever been through. That's the worst I've ever been through, in all the years I've been coaching. I've been behind the bench almost 3,000 hockey games in the NHL, and booed off the ice by your own fans at the end of the second period, here after this road trip, going 4-0 in hard places, very disappointing.
Now here's my issue. You're professional athletes. Those fans pay their hard earned money to come see you perform and win a game. When you can only manage 6 shots in 40 minutes, I think you should be booed. Now I believe there was a big hoopla with Patty LaLa getting booed after a putrid game against the Wild. I recall Miller chewing out fans for booing him. Maybe I'm missing the point of Murray's quote but I wanted to know what your guys thoughts were on players/coaches being upset with fans for booing.

If Miller and Myers were playing like they did last year, we'd probably be over 500 right now.
If I had decided to jerk off instead, I probably wouldn't be paying child support...
