Good for this piece of garbage. Hopefully this, coupled with his talk today with Lemieux & Co. about changing how he plays will make him see the light. Speaking of Mario, I wonder how he feels now about the NHL disciplining someone over a cheap shot/headshot and finally getting it right? Hahaha, piss off, Mario. |

I can accept that. Just thinking about the extra threads is all. |

I'm not saying ZOMG I POSTED FIRST POST IN MY THREAD. Don't really care about that. People commonly make comments about why people start new threads about the same topic. That's my only point. |

Justice served, and in an ironic twist of irony, I'm really happy with how the league stuck it to a team in a good way. Suck it Mario, and ditch your trash if you want to open your hypocritical piehole again. |

A 5 time repeat offender gets 11-17 games? Pathetic. The NHL still has a LONG WAY to go to eliminate head shots. Until first time offenders get 10 games there will always be head shots. |

Yeah I agree with the stiffer suspensions too. I've just gotten tired of repeating myself for so long. |

So... does Super Mario follow up his tough talk by getting rid of Cooke at the end of the year for being a douche that has no part to play in the game? Nah. I predict Cooke plays until the end of his career in Pittsburgh. |

If the NHL wanted to get rid of headshots, they should make an example out of Cooke and should tell him that if he ever delivers an intentional hit to the head again then he will be gone for good. Get the scumbags out of the league, give someone else their roster spot. |

I don't know. Probably. How can the Union defend repeat offenders like Cooke though, I don't know. |

I think the NHL needs to institute a building suspension system for headshots and actually use it. The problem I have with it is that the NHL's disciplinary office tries to judge intent, which is difficult. We don't care about intent on high sticks, and we shouldn't on headshots. |
