because it looked like his arm awkwardly slid up johnson's shoulder. didn't look that dirty to me

I agree. He hit him in a pretty normal way, nothing crazy but his arm slipped up. I don't think it was on purpose from watching the replay.

I dunno, that's kinda charging and elbowing all in one. I certainly agree with 5-10-and a game, but Feel that a fine could have been in order too. Especially given Bertuzzi's track record.

either way it wasn't totally head hunting, but he does come striding in from a long way out and throw an elbow to the head (granted he missed for the most part) I think his only saving grace was that Bertuzzi kinda turned himself away from the hit, and thats what caused the elbow to come up.

Suspend the guy. Regardless of intention, it's a dangerous hit, you suspend him to teach him a lesson and to send a message. Remember, he's not a first time offender either (which I think that argument is bull shit). He broke a guy's neck.
