Globe & Mail story I like it. One request is a Hockey Night in America kinda thing like HNiC. A Saturday night double header or something would be awesome. |

Good deal. I like a station that's dedicated to hockey. |

People whine about how Versus shows hockey around hunting, paintball, and bull riding, but it would be no different on ESPN2 where it would be shown around poker, women's college softball, and competitive darts. I'll take it on a channel where it's the flagship sport. Just give us a couple more games a week, and get a couple more announces that don't blow. I'm ok with it as long as I can continue to get the channel. |

I'd totally be down for Thorne. Honestly, I know a lot of people hate Jack Edwards, but I find him hilarious, even in his rampant homer-ism. I wouldn't mind him as long as he never did any Northeast division games. |

One thing I really like about Jack Edwards - and it's apparent on Brad Boyes' OT GWG vs the Bruins this year - is that he calls both teams' goals with equal intensity. But yea, no NE games please haha. Also, official announcement at 1PM EST. |

I haven't watched a second of ESPN programming for like 10 years, or whenever it was that they dumped the NHL. I don't mind Versus, and I never understood why everybody bashed them so hard, I mean it's hockey right? Use the mute and channel features on your remote if you don't like something. You have the power. I work for Comcast and it's great that they have so much money for this stuff. No really, I can't think of anything else they should spend it on. Not one thing. |

So much for ESPN being back in the mix. Versus better do a better job advertising what channel they're on so people know that hockey is still around |
