East 1. Washington Capitals 5. Tampa Bay Lightning Washington in 5 Unless Stamkos really heats up I don't see Tampa upsetting the Caps or even coming anywhere near to getting it done. I'll be surprised if they win one game. 2. Philadelphia Flyers 3. Boston Bruins Philly in 7 Bruins did well against a fiesty Canadiens' team. I'm hoping Bruins but I'm 80% sure we will see a Caps vs Flyers ECF. West 1. Vancouver Canucks 5. Nashville Predators Nashville in 7 I think Nashville will take this one. Vancouver doesn't seem as calm and collective in the playoffs as they did in the regular season. 2. San Jose Sharks 3. Detroit Red Wings Red Wings in 6 The Wings have a good all around team. Yes they are old, but these old guys are still playing at elite levels. Lidstrom is still a beast. The guy once again will hoist the Norris Trophy at the end of the year. What's your guys/gals opinions on the 2nd round? Who's your pick for the conference finals? |

I can see upsets happening like the Preds and Lightning moving onto to round 3. Nashville is one stingy team and the canucks have not played up to what they were doing in the season. And tampa's Guy Boucher has been a pretty good coach and the team seems to be buying into the system he is employing. East: Tampa and Boston West: Nashville and Detroit |
