Post subject:  Kostitsyn suspended...again
Sergei Kostitsyn has been suspended for the second time this season by the Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs.

According to several media reports, Kostitsyn left the AHL's Bulldogs on Wednesday and was immediately suspended by the Canadiens. He had four points in Hamilton's first five games after being sent to the AHL just prior to the beginning of the regular season.

He's really damaging his credibility, his reliability, and ultimately...his career.

He can't seem to understand how "disposable" he's just made himself.

Who's giving this kid advice? He's just screwing himself out of the league.

He was the same when he played for London, he thought he was beter than everyone else, maybe he needs a Dale Hunter talking to :think: :D

He also had 130 points in 59 games... When you do that in the O, you don't answer to many

He was initially demoted because he had a physical altercation with Scott Gomez off the ice.

There is a big difference between the O and the NHL. Far too many times you see some kid ripping it up in Jr. or in the A. When they make the transition to the NHL, there are better, bigger and faster players to contend with. Some make the transition no problem. Others, if not brought into the big leagues the proper way, struggle to find the play that earned them their meal ticket.

I bet his brother ain't too proud of him. The kid needs to shut up and do what he's told or he can boot'er for the KHL.

Gomez denies the incident; but then as he is a team mate of Kostitsyen's brother, may just be playing political correctness.....
