One year, $6.2 million to return for his 20th season. Can't believe he is still going.

He's amazingly good. If Chelios was still playing, would they have been the oldest potential D-pairing ever?

still feel like 6.2 is too high, but at the same time.. some of that is for all his service.

some people here said 1 million or let him go. because thats what yzerman did his last year. and people here think stevie y sets the bar for everything. fairly or unfairly.

Lidstrom is still dominant in this league. He would be on our top defensive line.

6.2 is a lot for any player in the NHL but at least he's still effective.

6.2 is high for Lidstrom, I think 4-5m is little more reasonable.

its what yzerman did, so some people expected the same from lidstrom.

Lidstrom is still one of the top defensemen in the NHL. 6 mill (or around there) is fair.

Wow 6.2 million for a 40 year old defensemen. I hope he has a good year next year or else people will be hating so hard on him.

I agree but with the cap being raised it really makes no difference now.
