Figured it'd be a good idea for all the random free agency talk to get thrown together. Report out of MTL says Markov has re-signed with the Habs for two years and a cap hit of 5.75 (same as his old deal). That drops the Habs down to $15M in cap space (going with reported $64M cap ceiling) with 16 players signed, if accurate. |

God I know its only one year but thats a dickload of money for that guys production if u ask me.....to say nothing of his age and last years injury....thats a tough one |
