Callahan, Dubinsky, Boyle, and Sauer all filed, giving NYR a hard time to fit both core and depth players under the cap. If they can't come to terms with all of them before the hearings, it could be free pickings for the rest of the league. I'm pretty sure NYR will pay anything to keep Callahan, but the rest might end up available.

Balls. I would definitely have preferred Dubi at 2C rather than Leino.

Looking again at their cap space, NYR could fit all of them under, but it depends on how much they want to spend on two other open D-man spots, and how much room they want to leave themselves for next season. I'm guessing at least 4 mil for Callahan, and over 3 mil for Dubinsky, and at least 4 mil combined for Boyle and Sauer. If that is about accurate they would still have 6 mil for the two d-man spots, with a need for at least one top four veteran.

Maybe once he goes UFA...
