Burke realizes that he can't pull off what he did in Anaheim, so he's just going to try and take their coach and players, and basically relocate the team to Toronto. Brilliant!!! (uh...yeah...) |

Leafs played very well last night against the Habs. Game was extremely chippy and they appeared to play hard. But yes, it was against the Habs... |

I don't have enough analysis over this to agree or disagree but he did bring a bottom feeder team with no talent and gained players like Kessel And Phaneuf and brought them to be at least competitive. |

NHL(or most pro sports) coach fails at winning. Gets replaced. Sounds like what happens in all places, except the Sabres alternate reality. Burkie is living off of Bob Murray's mistakes and retreads(sign ANA UFA Beauchemin and trade him for Lupul and Gardiner). He got lucky with the general too. His interview on HNIC yesterday was that of a tired, grumpy old man. I like his ballsy approach, but I think he'll be on his way out before long. |
