Saturday's Sabres' game saw three goals scored in the final minute of the periods - the first by the Bolts at the end of the first, the second by the Sabres at the end of the second, and the tying goal at the end of the third period.

My question is, what is the NHL record for most goals scored in the final minute of the game's three periods? I'm sure that the NHL does not keep that kind of stat, but we have some pretty high powered hockey brains here who might know.

Anybody know?

How about the most goals scored in the final minute of the game (by both teams)? Anyone know that?

The Sabres and Sens combined for three goals in the final 1:37 of the first game of the 2005 EC semis, but I don't think it was a record.

I typically only find out about these obscure records when the Sabres break one, and it is subsequently mentioned during the broadcast.

There's got to be a record for most goals scored in the final minute of a game. I'm not sure if they keep track of that first record, but that one? They must. Come on, somebody who knows.
