And it was just last year most were convinced that Gragnani and Luke Adam would be starring for The Sabres this season. Shows why you need to judge players over more than just parts of the season. |

Adam is still young enough where it's too early to judge a career out of it. Two professional seasons under his belt so far. |

The article DOES point out that Vigneault IS giving him minutes, though. Even when he's gaffing. MAG is still young, and he has potential to be a coast-to-coast defensemen. They have a good team, and can afford to give him minutes next year to try to get him to pan out. It may work. High risk/ high reward. Maybe not even that big a risk for a team almost guaranteed 100 points. Worst case scenario they get a 4th for him at the deadline. Not like Sulzer was going to net them a 2nd(this year) or anything, anyways. Adam?? Sheesh, I don't think anyone can even poke a guess as to what happened there. Yet another player I wouldn't mind seeing how another coach might use him before we get zippo(4th rounder) for him. If he fails next year, he should be considered for a trade if anyone is still interested. Maybe he bounces back???? Wtfk? |
