That report was denounced by exactly everyone in the hockey media who knows what they're talking about within 15 minutes.

Good job, good effort.

News story out of Boston....
Even in a lockout they find ways for all hockey fans to hate them more.

Use Google.

I bust your balls about this stuff all the time Mike. You post things that are easily proven to be untrue, sketchy, rumor, etc, with just a little searching.

Not sure why you're unhappy about it all of a sudden.

im not unhappy about it, if im wrong, im wrong. i just took it as slightly passive aggressive. its possible i just took it wrong.

sometimes i just want to create a little conversation. not by posting purposely incorrect information, but using rumors and trying to connect dots to possibilities. it makes things more fun, and more inviting to conversation.

is it possible this was correct, considering significant strides have been made regarding the lockout today?

And that reason was because Donald Fehr wasn't with the owners and the players.

I seem to see a trend here. It's obvious that Bettman wanted hockey and so do the owners and players, but Fehr doesn't seem to give a shit about it which is why there is never any progress.

Looks like Miller got into a heated spat with Boston's Jeremy Jacobs at the meeting last night

This makes me happy.

This article came out yesterday. Since it was only one source I didn't put too much stock in it, but I'm maybe starting to think that things are really happening...finally.

Bullshit. This is just another tease "OMG WE'RE SERIOUSLY ABOUT TO START PLAYING", yeah, whatthefuckever, get an actual deal done, get the players back, establish a schedule, then i'll get excited.

Well players meeting directly with owners without Bettman and Fehr for 5 hours on Tuesday and god knows how long last night (well after midnight) seems to indicate things are far more fluid than they were last week.

lol sports hurt is such a norm for me I just stopped caring, or at least repressing everything loss into the back of my mind, where it can eventually come out on a random stranger on the sidewalk.

I always tell people that my football team is the Bills. But then I mention that I, also, follow the Ravens and cheer for them. I mean it makes sense cheering/following your hometown team. But people call me out for having two teams. Obviously they do not follow Bills football, otherwise they would understand our plight. I then toss out that it is really only cheering for one and a half teams....not sure the Bills have fielded a competent or whole team in years. Whiskey usually gets me through games.

apparently the players had something to say to the owners, and the owners/NHL never showed up to hear it.

sounds bad again.

I give up. This whole thing is pointless. If they can't figure out how to divvy up $3B without all these theatrics, I have better things to do with my time.
