Looks nasty at that last review where Brown looks like he's forcing his elbow into Pominville. |

I don't agree with the announcer...Brown wasn't bracing for the check, he moved his arm towards Pominville to hit him. That said, it doesn't seem "dirty" to me either. There wasn't a call on the play, I don't see anything coming of this. |

I don't understand what brown WAS doing if he wasn't throwing himself into jasons face. He didn't touch the puck, it looked like jason planned to play the puck, dustin only used the puck being near himself to validly knock the crap out of Jason. I looked at both angles a couple times, and the first angle is just kind of confusing as to browns intent, but the second angle makes it look like all he was interested in was blasting Jason in the face. Tough call, but i'd like to see something happen, this looks too much like an intentional elbow to the face for my liking. I'd at least like to hear what Dustin has to say about it. |

If I put myself in Brown's position, I think he picked up on Pommer's presence pretty late, and just immediately reacted as if a big hit was coming. Of course Pommer was just going after the puck, and that made the hit look bad. Yes, Brown did lunge forward, but if you've got some guy coming straight for you, and you pick up on it late, you better get some forward momentum fast, or the guy will bowl you over. Not to make any excuses - Brown did get dinged for two games and that feels somewhat okay to me, but I probably would have done the same thing in Brown's position. I just hope Pommer is okay. Minn is one of the only teams in the playoffs I actually like. |

I just watched it again, and I changed my mind. It looked like from the first angle that Brown didn't know Pommer was coming toward him, but from the back angle it looks like Brown saw him all the way. |
