I'm amused by this thread. What does Miller have to do to earn some respect, cure cancer or something?

The guy carried the US Olympic team. The guy carries the Sabres night in and night out. He's statistically one of the best goalies in the league, almost a lock for the Vezina, and a serious candidate for the Hart. He carries himself well, represents the league and our city better than anyone else I can think of.

He's earned the pedestal that he's on.

Yeah, all that.

There are other great goalies out there, but right now the best is Miller.

jim carey. he had one GREAT year, then POOF! gone. millers had an impressive career thus far, but this season is his first true venture to the elite catagory.

this isnt a matter of him not getting any respect. its about wanting to see a resume with more then a couple ECF's and a silver medal before we call him the second coming.

Yes, Miller has carried the Sabres the last couple year and carried the US during the Olympics and proved just how much of a beast he is. its great to hear people talk about Buffalo for reasons other then the 90's Bills and Wings. We know Miller is a great goalie and is among the top contenders for the Vezina and Hart this year. but lets, at least, wait until he actually has those awards before we star the coronation.

Best the World is a high rank to give someone. lets just make sure that they can fill it.
