i saw a commercial the other day for this....it appears to be similar to e-bay however, prices can increase by a penny per bid or something.....

the site showed someone today who scored a 3.5" tomtom gps for $1.76....

one catch is that you have to purchase bids before you can bid on something.....

has anyone signed up at this site yet ? or bought anything ?

I've heard of a similar site and it's basically a scam from what I recall.
Basically you may buy an item for a ridiculously low price but the money you have to pay to make those bids makes up the difference bringing it close to or even over retail.

To raise the bid 1 penny it costs you a dollar.

Yeah, you pay per bid. That person scored a GPS $1.79..... plus $179 :P

(I understand that he may not have placed all the bids, but shut up)

Yeah, it's crap. There's tons of reports from people who suspected they had bots driving bids up, and even if they did win something the 'auction' kept going.

I'd stay away from it.
