Hey guys. I'm in the market for a good vaccuum. I have chosen a Dyson but they are pricey so I have thought about getting a refurbished one from Overstock.com. How are refurbished products?

I've bought a couple refurb mac laptops (not from overstock though) and they were fine.
It would depend on who did the refurbishing, but if some sort of warranty from the seller was included I generally wouldn't worry.

good to know. I think I'm going to but now the big question is which is better at cleaning a carpet...the fixed vacuum or the ball rollie one.

not the ball-rolly one. That being said, keep an eye out on woot.com; they usually end up there at a disgusting discount about once a month.

ordered it yesterday and went with the ball one since it seems easier to use. Kind of laughing how excited I am over a vacuum cleaner.
