JB isn't exactly broadening his roles but do any of the great acters? Deneiro roles are predeictably the same as 100 other characters he's played. Depp sounded a lot like a drunk pirate in AiWL. Ford, they all stick to what their good at.

Black Swan is insanely good, wow that Natalie Portman can act her butt off! I don't even know what to call it; thriller? horror? suspense? drama? soft porn? It's just so unique and unpredictable. And it's HARD to make an unpredictable movie in this day and age, when movie goers have seen and heard of it all. But somehow they found a way, just an amazing film. And I gotta admit I get squeamish when toenails are involved. That was some NASTY sheeeiiit!!!!

So I watche Splice today...and that movie got more than a little weird. If the message was too trigger a knee jerk uneducated yet pure Christian response, it worked. I fear gene splicing and clonning can go out of control.

Well naturally, I mean hello it's a t-rex?! BUT...I don't want to be rapped by the aforementioned species...or seduced into having sex with it either...or eaten by it. So, there's a lot to think about. That movie messed up my head.

Your Highness was disappointing as a comedy, but surprisingly good as and action/adventure movie! Great special effects, cool plot, superb acting, and half decent action scenes were kept in check by modern day lewdness and dialogue. If you like obscene and vulgar comedy with a hint of Monty Python then you will find a few laughs like I did.

I'm kind of thrown off by the directors obsession with pot, he seems to think that by simply showing it and referring to it steadily through the movie, it will magically make the movie seem more cool and sexy. I suppose it does to pot newbies, but to those of us that have actually grown up from our haze days, it's overdone. To me, it's like is that all? The fact that they are smoking weed isn't a big deal to me.
